Belize City Council’s “Back to School Super Sale” Boosts Local Economy

Over the weekend, downtown Belize City was buzzing with business as the Belize City Council held its annual “Back to School Super Sale”. The event centered on stimulating the local economy and providing citizens with an opportunity to get a bang for their buck. Several businesses took part in the sale, and it was well attended according to Erin Garnett, the council’s Communications Manager. She explained how the event has grown over the years and how it has assisted local businesses in gaining recognition.
