Belize City Council’s City Bash Draws Crowds for Independence Day Celebration

And while politicians were busy hashing it out in Belmopan, Belize City residents were dancing to the many performances at the City Bash in Digi Park. The event was organized by the Belize City Council and brought out hundreds of people. The annual concert seeks to encourage patriotism and comradery among residents and provides economic benefits for the vendors who take part. Today, city councilor, Albert Vaughn, commented on the numerous activities the council had its hand in over the festive season.
