Belize City Fisherman Remanded on Gang-related Charges

A Belize City Fisherman is serving his second night on remand after accused of being a member of gang. Nineteen-year-old, Felipe Cesar Sanchez. Sanchez stands accused of being a member of the Southside Gang (SSG), which is engaged in committing serious criminal offenses. Sanchez pleaded not guilty and due to the nature of the offense, he was denied bail and remanded to the Belize Central Prison until September 14.
