Belize City Man Charged with Damaging Father’s Vehicle in Family Dispute

A Belize City man has been charged with smashing the windshield of his father’s vehicle during a family dispute. Sean Pitter Jr. appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court yesterday charged with a single count of damage to property. Initially, he pleaded guilty but after the facts were read to him, he changed his plea to not guilty. He was granted bail in the sum of one thousand dollars plus one surety of the same amount but was unable to meet bail. He was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until he can meet his bail. Pitter is due back in court on January 12, 2024. The dispute happened on Tuesday, November 14.
