Barrington Elrington Miller, a 42-year-old of West Collet Canal, Belize City, is accused of stealing a car battery valued at three hundred dollars.  The city laborer appeared late yesterday in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on a single charge of theft. He appeared unrepresented in Court number seven where he was read a single charge if theft.  Miller pleaded not guilty to theft and was offered bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount.  He was unable to meet bail and he was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until January 22.  The allegations are that on Monday, December 2, Miller dishonestly appropriated an Atlas brand battery on Neal’s Pen Road, the property or Francisco Rosalez.
