Belize City Man Fined for Drug Trafficking: Pleads Guilty to Marijuana Possession

A Belize City man was fined in court today over a charge of drug trafficking. Thirty-four-year-old Arnold Anderson appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court charged with possession of controlled drugs with the intent to supply to another in connection with a hundred and fifty grams of marijuana found in his home. He pleaded guilty to the charge but said he had no intention of selling the marijuana to anyone. He was fined a thousand dollars and ordered to pay by February 29, 2024.
