Belize City Man Granted Bail for Property Damage Charge

A Belize City man is out of bail following a charge of damage to property. Marvin Ramirez appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court charged with breaking into a police constable’s vehicle and stealing the battery. He pleaded not guilty to the offense and was granted bail in the sum of one thousand dollars plus one surety of the same which he managed to meet. However, before he could post his bail, Ramirez also had to pay a hundred dollars towards an outstanding court fine. He is due back in court on November 7. The vehicle was broken into on September 6.
