Belize City Man Loses Everything in House Fire: Appeals for Assistance
A Belize City man is in need of assistance after he lost everything in a house fire today. Thirty-eight-year-old, Reainard Ferguson, told us that he was at work shortly after ten o’ clock this morning when he got a call from his neighbor. He rushed to his home on Neal Penn Road Extension in Belize City to find it already ablaze. The father of one said he called the National Fire Service, but due to the layout of the area the firetruck could not reach close to his home. He said the fire fighters assisted him as best they could but he is now homeless. He is asking for anyone so inclined to assist to help him get back on his feet.
The National Fire Service has not yet issued a report on the fire. Ferguson said that he is unsure of what could have cause the fire, because he makes it a habit of checking for any potential hazards before he leaves for work in the morning.
