Belize City man shot by police, family don’t believe cops are being honest

Last night a Belize City man was shot in what police are calling a chase. The cops claim that around 8 o’clock, they received a report which led to them setting chase after 23-year-old Victor Lopez and his passenger 22-year-old Kenyon Plunkett. During the chase, police allege that Plunkett attempted to pull an object from his waist which led to them shooting him with a shotgun. The Belize City fisherman was shot in his left arm and his family believes the police are not being honest. Reporter Vejea Alvarez tells us more.
