Belize City Records Latest Murder: 38-Year-Old Victim Targeted on Faber’s Road Extension

On Friday night, Belize City recorded its latest murder. The shooting occurred just before midnight on Faber’s Road extension and claimed the life of 38-year-old Gregory Johnson. A lone gunman targeted Johnson as he walked toward his home on Jaguar Avenue. He ran into a nearby establishment to seek cover but had been hit multiple times. Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero says that Johnson was rushed to the hospital but died on arrival. 

Police investigations continue.
