The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) has reported 25 new cases of COVID-19, coupled with a total of 30 new recoveries. No new deaths were reported, leaving the total number of deaths at 652. The ministry’s Kathleen Azueta Cho shared the most recent data collected within the past twenty-four hours.
Currently, there are five persons hospitalized, with one in the intensive care unit. The ministry’s report shows that, although the Belize District recorded two new cases, for the first time during the course of the pandemic, none of those persons were from Belize City.
