Belize City Resident Granted Bail for Marijuana Possession

Eighteen-year-old Belize City resident Alonzo Myers is out on bail after being arrested and charged for smoking marijuana in public. Myers appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court where he pleaded not guilty to the charge and explained that he was in possession of the marijuana but the joint was not lit. He was granted bail in the sum of two hundred dollars and is due back in court on November 29.
