Belize City to Celebrate Godfather of Punta Rock with Living Legends Concert

The carnival road march is over, but September celebrations are still in full swing. If you’re looking for something to do in Belize City tonight, the National Celebrations Commission is hosting the next entry in the Living Legends Concert series, honoring the Godfather of Punta Rock, Chico Ramos. Kim Vasquez, Director of the Institute of Creative Arts, says that the concert is the third in the series and will feature various artists performing Ramos’s music as a tribute to him. Vasquez also spoke about other upcoming events for the celebrations.

The annual fire engine parade is also being held across the country tonight.
