Belize City Woman granted bail for a domestic dispute believed to be the result of a love triangle gone wrong

Belize City woman escaped jail time today after she was granted bail for a domestic dispute believed to be the result of a love triangle gone wrong. 24-year-old, Sharon Lewis, was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s court on one count of wounding. Lewis is accused of attacking the mother of her boyfriend’s children with a glass bottle on Electric Avenue in Belize City. Lewis pled not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount which she met. Lewis’ bail conditions are that she is not to interfere with the virtual complainant rather directly or indirectly through any social media platform; she is not to interfere with any of the v/c’s family members or any other prosecution witnesses; she is to stay 100 yards from the complainant.
