Belize Government Rolls Out Free Education Program in Southern Districts
Hundreds of Southern youth are benefitting from the roll-out of the government’s free education program in the Stann Creek and Toledo Districts. Come Monday, the students of five high schools in the south will be attending classes free of cost thanks to the Briceno Administration. The program is centered on national development and geared at uplifting the youth through education. Today, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Education and Dangriga Area Representative, Dr. Louis Zabaneh, highlighted the importance of the program and explained that the program also provides students with school supplies.
The government’s free education program was launched last year in four Belize City high schools.
