Belize Hosts Cultural Exchange Program for US Youth Ambassadors

Belize Hosts Cultural Exchange Program for US Youth Ambassadors

Twelve Youth Ambassadors from across the United States of America are departing the country today after taking part in a two-week cultural exchange program. The students were hosted by Belizean families in Belmopan and took part in various activities geared at improving their social and leadership skills. The venture, which is the brainchild of the Love Foundation and the US Embassy, sought to provide the students with the opportunity to learn and explore different cultures, beliefs, and customs. Today, our newsroom spoke with two of the youth ambassadors about their time in Belize.

Incidentally, Belize’s young Sports Ambassadors landed a few minutes ago, after traveling to the US as part of the US Embassy’s ambassador program.
