Belize International Music and Food Festival Announces New Acts

The Belize International Music and Food Festival is set to offer an unforgettable experience this year with its new additions to the lineup, the Belize Punta Rock Legends and the Latin Explosion Combo. These combos consist of artists from old-school bands as well as combining them with new-school musicians and talent. These performances, scheduled for Day 2 of the festival, promise to showcase the rich cultural heritage and vibrant musical traditions of the region. Director of Industry Development, Josue Carballo, told us more.

Festival organizers have emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting cultural heritage through music. The Belize Punta Rock Legends is a collaboration of renowned artists who have shaped the sound and spirit of Punta Rock music. Producer Al Ovando and members of the Latin Explosion Combo, Bernadette Gillharry, Philbert “Flaco” Leslie, and Roman Canul, spoke to Love News about their preparations and expectations.

Day 2 of the Festival will take place on July 28th at the Saca Chispas Field.
