Belize Lady Jaguars Secure Victory in Concacaf Gold Cup Qualifiers

Belize National Senior Women’s Football Team the Lady Jaguars has secured another victory in the Concacaf Gold Cup Qualifiers. The team faced off against Bonaire last night at the Football Federation of Belize Stadium in Belmopan where won the match three-nil. The first goal was scored by Mikhalia Bowden in the thirty-second minute, the next was scored right after in the thirty-third by Khalydia Velasquez. Velasquez also scored the third goal in the sixty-third minute. Head Coach Wayne Casimiro said that the team has two games, one home and one away, against Turks and Caicos next month. In November the team will play Bonaire and Aruba, with their final game scheduled for December 4. Casimiro said that the Lady Jaguars are currently ranked in League C and are working towards moving up to League B by winning these upcoming games.
