Belize Mourns Lady Norma Young

Belize is mourning the passing of Lady Norma Young, wife of former Governor-General Sir Colville Young. For nearly twenty-eight years, Lady Young stood beside her husband as he carried out the duties of Belize’s highest constitutional office. Yet, beyond the official ceremonies and national events, her family remembers a gentle, devoted and quietly influential woman.
