In an effort to celebrate the upcoming World Book Day, The Belize National Library hosted a conference inviting Nadia López García, an esteemed writer well-known in Mexico. In collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico in Belize, they were able to have her talk about her work and the importance of one’s language at the Leo Bradley Library. Geridene Reneau, a representative for the BNL, filled us in on the library’s event.

Reneau suggests that people read, and even exchange books to celebrate World Book Day on April 23.
