Belize Opens Honorary Consulate in Chetumal to Assist Nationals in Emergencies

Friday saw the official opening of Belize’s Honorary Consulate in Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico.  Belizean national, Jose Luis Kelly, has been selected as the consul and will be available to assist in emergency situations.  Love News spoke with Belize’s Ambassador to Mexico, Oscar Arnold, who indicated that the emergency situations would include accidents, trouble with law enforcement or medical emergencies whilst visiting the area.
