Belize Participates in Eighth Caribbean Sustainable Energy Forum in Jamaica

From Taiwan to Jamaica, Minister Ferguson is currently attending the Eighth Caribbean Sustainable Energy Forum in Kingston. The three-day event seeks to bring together energy stakeholders from the region to establish a sustainable energy policy focused on renewable energy and energy efficiency development in the Region. Ferguson told Love News that Belize’s participation centered on the introduction of electric buses as a means of supporting a transportation pilot project. 

Ferguson WAS joined Jose Urbina, Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy, Logistics, and E-Governance.
