Belize Partners With UNDP to Modernize Transport


The Ministry of Constitution and Religious Affairs, Indigenous Affairs, and Transportation is strengthening its partnership with the United Nations Development Programme to modernize Belize’s transport sector.  Minister Dr. Louis Zabaneh recently met with a UNDP team, led by Deputy Resident Representative Michael Lund. The meeting sought to advance collaboration on key initiatives including the E-Mobility Pilot Project aimed at promoting cleaner and more sustainable transportation. The meeting also explored broader areas of cooperation in innovation and inclusive development. According to the ministry, both sides say they’re committed to building a more connected, resilient, and climate-smart Belize.
