Belize Prime Minister Supports Special Needs Children’s Program in Orange Walk

Prime Minister John Briceno is calling on the Belizeans to support the nation’s population of special needs children. Today, the PM paid a visit to differently-abled children participating in a special needs summer camp at the Orange Walk Banquitas House of Culture. The program is being held by the People’s Alliance for Persons with Special Needs in Orange Walk (PAPSNOW), an NGO working with special needs children, and is sponsored by the PM. Briceno took to Facebook after participating in a dance session with the youth and shared this video commending the work being done.

The program will come to an end this week and will be concluded with a Yucatec Dance performed by the participants.
