Belize Receives over 4,000 Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccines

While the Covid-19 is now regarded as just a flu, and the death cases have diminished significantly, the government is still accepting donations of the vaccination.  This morning, the Ministry of Health and Wellness received a donation of vaccines through the US Embassy in Belmopan.  According to Minister Kevin Bernard, the government received 4,850 doses of the Pfizer vaccines.

On hand for the donation was the US Ambassador to Belize, Michelle Kwan.  Her address focused on her country’s willingness to work closely with Belize in multiple areas, including health.

It has been over one year since the ministry has issued any data regarding reports of Covid-19.
