Belize Robotic Team to Enter Championship Finals

Meanwhile, Belize’s Robotics Team was in Tulsa, Oklahoma over the weekend where they made a presentation inside the Expo Square Pavilion for the 2023 Green Country Robotic Championship. After competing with close to fifty teams from around the world, Belize took the All Star Rockie Award and made it to the finals slated to be held in Houston, Texas on April 18. According to the Team Captain, Jayden Chen, whilst they were nervous, they were also determined.

The competition is in its second year under the trademark, FIRST Robotic Green Country Championship. According to the organizers at FIRST, the competition is meant for students to learn and apply real-world engineering concepts. Additionally, the competition gives access to participants and alumni to apply for more than $80 million in scholarships and access career discovery opportunities and connections.
