Belize has been granted an eleven million dollar loan, and a grant agreement with the International Cooperation and Development Fund of Taiwan. The monies are earmarked to assist micro small medium enterprises (MSMEs) in conjunction with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).  Of the eleven million, ten will go towards DFC’s credit line while the remaining one million will serve to support DFC’s Digital Transormation project.  Regarding the line of credit, MSMEs will be able to borrow from the DFC which will in line provide employment and support the post-COVID economic recovery of MSMEs, especially those owned or led by women, through access to production-oriented finance.  Prime Minister John Briceno signed on behalf of the Government of Belize, along with DFC Chairman of the Board of Directors, Raineldo Guerrero, and Chief Executive Officer, Henry N.
