Belize Sugar Industries Wraps Up Challenging Crop Season

Today, the Belize Sugar Industries (BSI) held a small celebration highlighting the end of their 56th sugar cane crop season. It wasn’t much of a celebration considering that there was a significant decline in sugar production, and there are still several challenges overhead.  Reporter Vejea Alvarez compiled the views of different stakeholders and tells us how this vital industry of the north performed this crop season.
