Belize to expand police department with new stations funded by Central American Bank

The Government of Belize is working with the Central American Bank for Economic Integration to expand the reach of the Belize Police Department. The department is looking to construct several new police stations across the country. The Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, says the facilities are needed to provide the best possible service to the Belizean people.

Minister of Home Affairs, Kareem Musa, also weighed in on the importance of the project and says the work to construct the building will begin soon.
