Belize to face off against Guatemala in official Concacaf match

Tomorrow, Belize and Guatemala will be facing off on the football pitch. The Belize Jaguars will be competing against Guatemala’s national team in an official Concacaf Nations League match. The match will take place in Belmopan and is expected to draw a huge crowd. Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Sports, expressed his optimism and shared his expectations for the match.

Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Youth, Sports and Transport:” Guatemala versus Belize is a country of about sixteen to seventeen million people while we have four hundred thousand but never can tell what will be the end result. We know they’re playing a higher caliber football than us we but we are going to give a fighting chance and hopefully we can bring home the victory for Belize tomorrow evening. So I’m very hopeful.”
