Belize U-17 Boys Basketball Team Makes History, Advances to Semi-Finals

If you are more of an avid sports fan, then there is the U-17 Basketball tournament happening at the Belize Civic Center.  Belize’s Under-17 Boys Basketball Team made history last night by advancing to the semi-finals for the first time. The team had an intense game against Jamaica but ultimately prevailed with a final score of 93 to 68. Many have been following the games, including the National Sports Director, Iris Centeno. 

The team faces off against Puerto Rico tonight at eight-thirty at the Belize Civic Center.
