Belizean Athletes Shine at North Central Caribbean Masters Athletics Games in Mexico

Belizean athletes won medals for the 2023 North Central Caribbean Masters Athletics Games (NCCMA). NCCMA is a part of the international governing body known as World Master Athletics. The athletic games include pentathlons, track race walk, prelims, relays and much more. The track and field competitions are taking place in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. With only one day down in the competitions, Belize already has medalists in the championship. Dylan Jones won Gold, Fred Evans won silver and Lawrence Craig won bronze in the shotput category. In the female segment, Tricia Flores won gold and Julia Mccord won bronze in the 100-meter sprint category. The competitions continue throughout the weekend ending on Sunday.
