Belizean American, heavyweight boxer, Jarrell Miller is in Belize and he had some news he shared at a press conference today at the Belize Biltmore Plaza. The 31-year-old boxer also known as “Big Baby”, will be in the ring again in February. In June 2018, Miller failed a drug test and was punished for the infraction. However, he explained that a tainted supplement and numerous cocktails of medicines to speed heal and injury that he had made him test positive. According to Miller, he is finalizing his contract and is aiming to start boxing again in February.

Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller”: “He’s Drake’s manager, he started Rap A Lot Records in Houston, he’s an entrepreneur and what really sold me on J  recently- and even so I’ve always had love for J but what really made me gravitate toward him was the love that eh had for Belize and if you guys don’t know he has multiple investments in Belize and owns an island off San Pedro and he’s always here, always in the cut doing what he does, he doesn’t really care too much for the spotlight, in business people where they do big things but they don’t have to boast about it and that’s kind of me too, I only talk smack when I’m in the ring, other than that you’ll catch me somewhere in Dangriga or Rancho eating panades chilling; I don’t need to say too much once I get in the ring my hands say the most. Other than signing with Jay we have some great news, we will be returning early this year making my boxing debut back to the ring, we don’t have an exact location yet, the reason why is that the contract is not 100% signed yet but we’re really close and it’ll probably be in Vegas but as you know a lot of preparation goes into these things and we can’t exactly put a stamp on it yet. Nothing more really much to say is that I know Belize is riding with me and Imma bring it to them, Imma bring it to them hard I’m bringing pain, I’m bringing revenge and I’m bringing everything that was supposed to happen June first come back here early this year. So with that said Big Baby is back, Belize we gonna be back on the map real soon.”

Miller plans to contribute positively to his hometown by commencing Boxing exhibitions in Belize.

Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller”: “I think right now we could definitely do a fight in Belize but what I’d like to start doing is exhibitions in the Civic Center, it don’t really have to even be on a major worldwide level it would just be something for Belize you know where we encourage the kids, we could give away tickets to kids and stuff like that to bring the city together have something to give the kids hope because my main thing is always about the kids because I was one of them little youths in Kings Park acting cuckoo so I feel like when you start seeing athletes coming back to the country or even rappers or singers, once you start coming back to where we call the ghetto in some ways it inspires kids. We know there’s a lot of violence in Belize and sometimes it just takes the right person to come through and they say ‘you know what, put that gun down and pick up this pair of boxing gloves or this basketball.’ So I think most definitely I mean one of my main goals is to put on fights or even do exhibitions in the country and just shine an even bigger and brighter light on Belize.”

Miller also signed on with James Prince, a Boxing Manager for his upcoming triumph. Prince previously managed Andre Ward and Floyd Mayweather.
