Belizean Bus Driver Kidnapped and Robbed in Chetumal

Tillett’s bus driver, Jose Quintero says he was robbed, kidnapped, and beaten up before he was thrown out to the street and found by Chetumal police. The 35-year-old resident of Patchakan Village, Corozal District was reported missing by his family on Wednesday when he did not return from his daily runs from Belize to Chetumal and back. Quintero’s brother-in-law spoke on behalf of Quintero, about his experience. 

Quintero sustained minor injuries to his ribs, neck, back, knee.
