Belizean Dads Share Perspectives as Nation Marks Father’s Day

On Sunday, Belize joins other nations of the world in observing and celebrating Fathers’ Day.  Marked annually on the second Sunday of June, the day is set aside to highlight the other half the equation, to having children. While the day appears to have less fanfare than Mother’s Day, there have been stores offering specials for the day, and organizations sending shout-outs to dads.  Instead of hitting the street this year, Love News decided to reach out to notable Belizean professionals who are fathers themselves to give their views on the commemoration. Among them were Attorney Dickie Bradley and Pastor Louis Wade Junior.

We also spoke with well-known conservationist Jamal Galvez, and Mayors Earl Trapp and Robert Mariano, who all shared a message for fathers.

Love News takes this opportunity to wish all Belizean fathers a happy Father’s Day
