Belizean Educators Teaching in the USA

Belizean Stephen Diaz is an Ambassador Teacher. He is currently in the USA, working at the Mullen Elementary School in Virginia. Diaz is one of the teachers currently involved in the Participate Learning exchange program. The program brings more than 1,000 international teachers each year to teach in U.S. schools with the purpose to give U.S. children skills in bilingual education and create open and diverse cultural experiences toward meeting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For Diaz, this conception of the U.S. Department of Education can be applied to his personal experience as an educator in the United States. He says that skills that he learned during his professional exchange are especially helpful in the form of personal development.

If you are an educator or know an educator who would like to be part of Participate Learning you can apply at *www.participatelearning.com <www.participatelearning.com>**. *The deadline is March 31, 2022
