Police say that 42-year-old Herbin Alberto Bans is believed to have drowned while trying to escape police capture over the weekend. Around 9 am on Sunday, Ban’s body was found floating face down near the bank of a pond in the Spanish Town area of Lord’s Bank. Bans had reportedly returned from Punta Gorda Town on Friday, but instead of going home, he went to socialize at a nightclub in Ladyville.
