Belizeans Rush to Stock Up on Fish for Good Friday Tradition

For many, today was the last day to get their fish stock for Good Friday. The annual tradition of eating fish on the day dates to a rule set out by the Catholic Church of not consuming warm-blooded animals. The practice is one that many Belizeans look forward to, particularly fishermen. Reporter Vejea Alvarez was in Belize City earlier to get a first-hand look at how Belizeans were preparing for the start of the Easter holiday.
