Thirty young Belizeans from across the country have been granted the opportunity to receive a three-month training in agriculture through a scholarship programme being funded by the Colombian Government. The Agricultural Labor Technical Training Program is designed to develop technical skills in agriculture and animal production. In an interview with Love News the Minister of Agriculture, Jose Mai, explained that opportunity will strengthen the capacity of the farmers like Maria Yam, and technical experts like Elbert Cowo, in Belize.
