Belize’s economy after COVID-19

COVID-19 is taking a toll on economies worldwide. Businesses are shutting down, and people are being laid off. Belize is already seeing effects on our economy as tourism, one of our major income earners, is seeing a decline.

COVID-19 is taking a toll on economies worldwide. Businesses are shutting down, and people are being laid off. Belize is already seeing effects on our economy as tourism, one of our major income earners, is seeing a decline. Tomorrow, the members of the House of Representatives will be meeting to approve the supplementary budget to aid in the fight against COVID-19.
