Belize’s Jaguars Lose to Guatemala

And, in sports news, Belize’s Jaguars were defeated 2-1 by Guatemala’s national team. Last night, the teams faced off in an official Concacaf Nations League match at the FFB stadium in Belmopan. The stadium was packed with spectators who witnessed an admirable fight from the Belizean players, who gave it their all but were undone by the Guatemalans. Jordy Polanco was the only Belizean player to score, nailing a header before the end of the second half.
