Belize’s Ministry of Transport to Implement New Legislation and Enforcement

The Ministry of Transport will be implementing new legislations and increase enforcement of existing laws in the coming months.  CEO Adele Catzim spoke on the plans ahead as they relate to what laws they are looking at.

It is not lost on the media that this is not the first time that the government has attempted to enforce laws and introduce new undertakings.  In the past, we have seen the acquisition of speed guns, breathalyzers and tinting laws.  The media asked what would be different this time around.
