The Ambassador granted Love News his first media interview in Belize and pledged that one of his main focus is to further strengthen the relationship with Belize.
David Kuan-Chou Chien, Taiwan Ambassador to Belize: “This is my third time coming to Belize. My previous two were both short term visits. The first one was in 2016 when the former president of the Republic of China Taiwan Dr. Ma Ying-jeou* led a delegation coming to Belize and I was one of the delegates there. And the other time was in 2017 when Taiwan’s foreign minister Dr.David Lee* led a smaller delegation visiting the Belize Government. Both visits really made me very impressed especially this time when I came back I really saw a lot of difference and a lot of progress in Belize.”
