Belmopan City Council Hosts Business Forum to Promote Smart City Development

The Belmopan City Council held a business forum yesterday, gathering small businesses from around the municipality. The initiative forms a part of efforts underway to make Belmopan a smart city hub. The event presented an opportunity for Belmopan business owners to meet with small business owners and investors from abroad to form partnerships. Talks were also initiated about having a convention center in Belmopan. City Administrator for the Belmopan City Council Sherlene Julian spoke with Love News about the event and the plans for the capital city.
