Belmopan Comprehensive School Students Benefit from Free Education Initiative

Students from Belmopan Comprehensive School are the first to receive free education in the capital city. In 2020, the People’s United Party in their Plan Belize Manifesto renewed their commitment to Free Education from preschool to sixth form. That plan is now being rolled out for the Belmopan Comprehensive School (BCS). All students from BCS will be provided with uniform assistance, transportation, and that tuition will be paid by the Government. Area Representative for Belmopan, Oscar Mira says that the Government of Belize has taken the commitment to free education very seriously.

The program will be rolled out in the upcoming school year
