Belmopan Skips 10th of September Celebrations Due to Low Attendance in Previous Years

The much anticipated Celebrations Calendar has been released, revealing the activities countrywide. Surprisingly, Belmopan is the only municipality without a scheduled event for the 10th of September celebrations this year. Manager of Events and Public Relations, John Wade, spoke to Love News about the lack of attendance in previous years being a significant factor in the decision to forego this year’s celebration.

Residents of Belmopan are being encouraged to attend the Celebrations in Belize City. The plan is to resume celebrations for the 10th in Belmopan next year after sufficient planning.
