Belmopan to Host Free Gospel Concert Featuring Christafari

This Sunday, Belmopan is set to come alive with uplifting music at a gospel concert. My Refuge Christian Ministries, in collaboration with the Belmopan City Council, will hosts a concert at the Governor General Field. The highlight of the evening will be a performance by Christafari, the internationally acclaimed reggae gospel group. The concert is free and runs from 4 to 9 p.m and will also feature a range of food vendors. Event organizer Kenrick Durran shared that the concert aims to bring families and communities together in faith and celebration.

Meanwhile, Pastor Richard Smith is seeking the public’s support to host a similar Christian concert next week in Belize City. Smith is hoping to garner the necessary support to bring Christian band, Christafari, to the old capital on Wednesday night. The band is currently in Belize and is performing in various municipalities to spread the word of God through music. Smith spoke about efforts to host a similar concert in Belize City.

Smith can be reached at 615-0710.
