Bernard Wagner Responds to UDP Competitor

With the possibility of Bernard Wagner going up against UDP’s Dr. Mortis-Jones, the media did ask him to weigh in his opponent, and how he would gauge the competition.

Bernard Wagner, Mayor of Belize City: “I have known the lady for Miss Mortis for quite some time. I’ve had experiences with her in my former career as a banker. She’s a teacher, a very good friend of my sister. Both of them teach at Grace Primary School. And so I have no ill feeling about the young lady. She has her right again as all residents, all citizens, to want to serve. But again, for me, you’ll never see me get into any slander in my opponents.”
