Birth Registration Mobile Clinic in Independence Village Draws Over 600 Residents

The Attorney General’s ministry hosted a birth registration mobile clinic this past weekend in Independence Village, Stann Creek District. The three-day event was in partnership with the Vital Statistics Unit and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The initiative allowed residents to gain access to services such as registration of regular and late births and deaths, applications of certificates, corrections of errors and deed polls. Over 600 residents took advantage of the services offered in the mobile clinic.
