Blaze Ravages Homes in San Pedro Colombia: Garbage Fire Sparks Tragedy

A massive fire, sparked by flames of burning garbage, consumed three houses over the weekend.  On Saturday afternoon, about 45 miles from Punta Gorda Town, three families saw their homes destroyed in the village of San Pedro Colombia.  Senior Correspondent Paul Mahung has the story.

Neither homes nor their contents were insured.  The National Fire Service Station (NFSS) has frequently warned residents of the risks taken when they choose to set fires in open areas or in windy conditions.
